Just plug them in:





a) 2(3)(3 - 2) = 6





b) 4%26amp;x = 2(4)(4 - x) = 42





8(4 - x) = 42





32 - 8x = 42





and you should be able to finish it from there.





c) works pretty much the same as (b).
