If a triangle is defined by the three points A(2,-5,1), B(-3,2,4), and C(0,3,1), how to find its area?

the area can be found using matrix method........

ie., if any 3 points say A(a,b,c), B(x,y,z) and C(l,m,n)

then the area of this triangle is

a b c

x y z

l m n

similarly

2 -5 1

-3 2 4

0 3 1

2(2-12) + 5(-3) +1(-9)

-20 -15-9

-44

since area cannot be negative the answer is 44 sq units

If a triangle is defined by the three points A(2,-5,1), B(-3,2,4), and C(0,3,1), how to find its area?
u can use the Vector Cross Product
