I had to repost because people thought A B and C were 3 different points of view.
This person does not believe in any god, gods or godesses. This person believes that if god exists, it is impossible to know or understand, so saying it is one, two, ten, male, female, or a flying spaghetti monster can all be as valid because there is no information exists to say otherwise. Therefore, the question of god is irrelevant. However, given the evidence of the world, it suggests that if a god were to exist, it would be deistic.
Personally I'd define this person to be an Atheist. What about you?
How would you define someone with the following religious beliefs?
The problem is the wishy-washy deciding factor of this person.
This person is a natural born follower as he can't make up his mind.
If he believes in no gods - nuthin - he's an atheist.
If he believes in a creative force but not necassarilly with a will or a personallity then he is an agnostic and cannot be an atheist.
If he believes that the forces that created the world had some personallity or wanted things in a certain way(using its willpower) then he is at the least a Deist and cannot be either an agnostic or a an atheist.
These 3 sentences are therefore mutually exclusive religious viewpoints. He needs to $#!% or get off the pot. - make a decision as to which of those 3 he "really" believes...
Reply:Agnostic....
Don't hide what you are inside....
Reply:I would call them Agnostic, because they do not say that they DO NOT believe there is no GOD... Just that they are not sure. Have a great evening.

Reply:i'd describe that person as smart...
Reply:I would agree. The only alternative would be agnostic, but if he believes that god does not exist, that's atheism.
Reply:An agnostic pagan. They probably live comfortably knowing nothing to support any belief in any God. Most unbelieving Christians don't want to know God. I didn't. This then would support Pauls' stance on predestination.
Reply:Whatever! I do not need to worry about classifying, defining and categorising people. It is whatever they choose to be. I leave this to Allah. I'd rather focus on myself and my role to make the world a better place.
Peace
Reply:Agnostic atheist
Reply:definately atheist.the simple fact that he doesn;t believe in the existence of one God is enough to identify him/her as atheist
Reply:Again, agnostic. They don't really believe in god, but they could be possibly convinced at some point. Atheists will never believe in god.
Reply:You are an agnostic really but go ahead and say you are atheist haha. Because every atheist is agnostic but agnostic means you sort of believe in god and thats not really good enough for me. Because I only give the possibility and will change my mind if there ever is evidence. And I completely agree with everything you just said. Peace
Reply:Two different things.
atheist –a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings.
deism -The belief, based solely on reason, in a God who created the universe and then abandoned it, assuming no control over life, exerting no influence on natural phenomena, and giving no supernatural revelation.
Reply:Agnostic atheist. He doesn't believe because he doesn't know. Atheism and agnosticism are not mutually exclusive - agnosticism deals with knowledge, and atheism deals with belief.
Reply:The correct term for this Faith is "agnostic",
