lim f(x) as x goes to c

Please Help! If f(x) is a continuous function defined on all real numbers and c is any real number then find:?
If I remember correctly, if the function is continuous, it has no breaks or gaps. Because this is true, then I think that lim f(x) as x approaches c is f(c). Your teacher will probably make you write a chart choosing values close to a certain value c to demonstrate that, if you haven't done that already.
Reply:lim f(x) as x goes to c = f(c) because f(x) is continuous everywhere
Reply:Well if the limit exists on all real numbers, then the limit is f(c). Whatever the value is for f(x) when you plug in c, is the limit.
